Coding For Kids [code.org]
Even if your kid doesn’t know how to read yet, they still can learn how to code!
Coding for kids is specifically designed for kids aged from 6 to 8 years old in order to simplify the concept of coding for them through simple drag-and-drop puzzle-themed games.
These games are made to help them developing analysis and thinking skills that would hugely make a difference in their thinking and technical abilities over time. Your kids are going to be able to learn computer science by trying different puzzle lessons.
They will also learn how to create computer programs, develop problem-solving skills, and work through fun challenges.
We don’t need complicated codes in order to teach children how to think or how to program, we rather need to involve them with fun activities that they would enjoy and at the same time relate it to all the complicated programming concept in order to give them a sneak peak about the field.
Coding for pre-readers would give your child the advantage of performing better in other subjects, excel problem-solving skills, and build critical thinking methods.
They will be able to have an idea of what computer science looks like and what are all of its other fields that might interest them and encourage them to build a new passion.
They will be able to write their own codes in a very simplified language that they can process and understand.
